Policies and Customer Agreement
Ordering
Raven Furniture will make every effort to provide the best possible service and products to our valued customers. We cannot guarantee exact completion dates.
All completion dates are estimates and can vary due to circumstances beyond our control.
We require a non-refundable 50% deposit with your order and payment in full is required prior to shipping. All orders are to be paid in full upon completion date, regardless of delivery date.
Woods
Historically, pine has been the wood of choice for furniture built in Arizona, and is the basis for the items in our price list. Recently, though we have been using a variety of other woods. We will quote up-charges based on market prices for Knotty Alder, Maple, Oak, Mahogany or a wood of your choice.
Finishes
Our craftsmen take the utmost care in their wood selection. However, trees grow differently from each other and, therefore, their woods will vary in color, knots and graining. When the finishing process is completed, the furniture will have several differences in color tones and grain characteristics. This is the beauty of the wood.
We have over 40 finishes available. Select samples and custom finishes will be furnished upon request. Many customers choose to have their furniture distressed for an aged look, while others prefer a cleaner, finer edged appearance. The choice is yours. Due to the characteristics of pine and alder, the furniture comes slightly distressed.
Shipping
Catalog prices do not include shipping, but instead will be additional and determined by the size of your order and its ultimate destination. As a service to our customers we can assist you in selecting an independent carrier for the delivery of your purchase, or, if you prefer, you may make arrangements personally.
As completion of your order nears, you will be notified one to two weeks prior to your shipping date, which allows for scheduling time and for your balance due to be received and processed.
While a timely and undamaged delivery is of primary importance, your furniture will be covered by the standard insurance terms of the freight carrier. We suggest that all merchandise be inspected immediately upon receipt. Do not accept a shipment which evidences damage or shortage until the driver endorses a statement of irregularity on the back of the transportation receipt. The freight carrier will
then take responsibility for all repair or replacement as necessary. If you give the transportation company a clear
receipt for the goods that have been damaged or lost, you do so at your own risk and expense.
Guarantee
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase of Raven Furniture. Our work is fully guaranteed against any defect in material or workmanship for one year after purchase. If you have a problem please give us a call. Any claims against this guarantee must be authorized by Raven
Furniture.
